U.S. Markets Execute BCP Drill

The object of the test, which was coordinated by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (Sifma) and the Financial Information Forum (FIF), was to see how well the industry's backup systems worked, according to Howard Sprow, vice president of business continuity for Sifma.

The trial included more than 200 participating firms; along with 34 exchanges, markets and utilities; and 10 services bureaus. This year's test boasted a bigger audience than the last business continuity test
