BANCA AKROS TAPS ORC FOR DMA
Italian investment firm Banca Akros, owned by Banca Popolare di Milano Group, has selected Orc Software for direct market access (DMA) for electronic trading on the IDEX, the new segment of the Italian Stock Exchange's derivatives market, IDEM. This platform will help the firm trade electric energy futures contracts, according to a press statement. Orc technology will allow Banca Akros to offer its customers trading and clearing services, as well.
