London Software Developer Builds FX Conversion Trading System


LONDON--AVT, a 10-year-old software developer whose first project was the construction of a foreign exchange conversion system for JP Morgan, is planning on upgrading its products to cover additional classes of securities, including fixed income products. While the software normally is hosted on a broker's server, it's used to automate the currency portion of a cross-border trade for buy-side clients.
