Best Execution for MiFID Worries UK

LONDON-Although it is a little more than a year before MiFID comes into force, regulatory bodies and financial firms are still mulling over the definition of best execution.

This summer, both the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK and the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) in France released position papers on the implementation of MiFID and the best execution requirements.

MiFID requires firms to take all reasonable steps to obtain the best possible result, taking into account
