The LSE Comes To a Standstill...Again

The London Stock Exchange has suspended trading after a market data glitch led to system issues during the opening auction call period on Friday morning.

A spokesperson for the exchange said the LSE itself is currently in a halt phase with no continuous trading taking place on the SETS and SETSqx trading services, in accordance with LSE's protocol

The bourse has said that uncrossing trades - which are part of a computer algorithm used to determine opening prices - are under investigation.
