Oceanic Markets Post Slim Data Returns

The Australia and New Zealand stock exchanges reported slight growth in overall market data revenues in their latest financial results released last week, despite contractions in the number of terminal positions carrying the exchanges’ data.

The ASX, which reported its full-year results without breaking out quarterly figures, grew its overall revenue by 5 percent over last year to A$617.6 million ($641.4 million), with market data comprising A$70.9 million ($73.6 million). Data revenue increased
