Standardizing SDRs and CCPs


Out of the various standards and regulatory concerns filling the air at Sibos in Toronto this year, a sizable amount of the discussions came down to issues with clearing and settling OTC derivatives trades. The issues with this asset class, in turn, all seemed to center on managing the data from these transactions, particularly among central counterparties (CCPs) and in swap data repositories (SDRs).
