RBS’ Eddie: Capital Requirements Set to Get Harder

Last week, Bank of England governor Mervyn King said that England's big four banks—Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)—may need to raise as much as £35 billion ($56 billion) in new capital to ensure a stable market in the case of future market shocks.
