ANNA Launches New Instrument Standards and Codes

Standards body publishes LEI-related details, collaborates on classification standard

Three standards bodies, working collaboratively, have amended the ISO 10962 standard for classification of financial instruments, according to Uwe Meyer, executive director and secretariat of ANNA (Association of National Numbering Agencies). ANNA has also made changes to its Market Identifier Code (MIC or ISO 10383) and just published details for a Financial Instrument Short Name (FISN) or ISO 18774 standard, which is intended to replace the ISO 17442 standard now being used for legal entity
