SimCorp to Open Tokyo Office 

Vendor sees the Japanese market moving towards more high-yielding strategies.

SimCorp will be opening its fourth office in Asia, in Tokyo on October 11, catering to domestic asset managers that are diversifying into other asset classes and to markets outside of Japan. 

Oliver Johnson, managing director at SimCorp APAC, says Japan is a key part of SimCorp’s growth strategy in Asia. “We are just at that inflection point where we have clients we are targeting that are looking at changing systems to support some of the new strategies they are taking on,” he says.
