The newly fledged UK hedge fund has outsourced its portfolio management tech and operations to third parties, a move that has helped it through the coronavirus pandemic.
“Let’s just say that the power was cut [in my office] or the building burnt down, and I lost all of my IT kits,” says Edward Strover.
Strover, who is one half of Sarson Strover Investments Partners, adds that while this (fortunately hypothetical) scenario might sound alarming, it would not be devastating for a hedge fund like his.
