A look at some recent people moves in the capital markets tech and data space.

MarketAxess appoints Concannon CEO

MarketAxess announced that Chris Concannon will take over as CEO, starting on April 3. He will replace Richard McVey, who will become executive chairman. McVey founded the trading platform and data provider in 2000.

Concannon is currently the vendor’s president and COO. Prior to joining MarketAxess at the start of 2019, he served as president and COO of Cboe Global Markets, a position he was appointed to upon Cboe’s acquisition of Bats Global Markets in 2017
