NEW YORK--Following the recent sale of Extel to Primark in February, Interactive Data and its European counterpart Financial Times Information have undergone a global reorganization and shift of focus. The reorganization is aimed at more closely integrating the two organizations and their products and shifting the headquarters to the US.

Interactive Data/Financial Times Information, as the group is currently called, is part of the Financial Times Group, one of five major groups owned by Pearson.
