Planned For October, Unix Expo Will Emphasize ... Windows NT?

The upcoming Unix Expo will have a new focus: Windows NT. Conceding that the Microsoft operating system is gaining tremendous popularity, the Unix Expo is dedicating an entire pavilion to what it calls "the operating system of choice in corporate America"--its former sworn enemy, Windows NT.

Highlighting the Microsoft-friendly atmosphere this year, Bill Gates is slated to give a keynote address to the conference, on Oct. 9. He will also present the so-called "Hot Iron" awards for NT technology
