ITT is pleased to host a regular column dedicated to the efforts of the FIX Committee. Among the many initiatives currently underway, these are some on the front burner:

Indications Extensions for Blocking and Targeting

Several members of the FIX Technical Subcommittee have met with various market-data vendors who support FIX for Indication routing in an effort to devise a more efficient means of distributing IOIs. (In the current specification, a single IOI message must be sent to each recipient
