Reuters Proposes One Class Of Common Stock

Reuters Holdings PLC has announced plans to convert all of its Class A shares, which each carry four votes, into Class B shares, which each carry only one vote. If the conversion is approved at the company's April 26 annual meeting, Reuters' share capital will consist of ordinary (common) shares with one vote each and the Founders Share, which protects the independence of the news and financial information concern.
