Citi Sets Sail via CIO Council

NEW YORK—Citigroup is working to simplify its IT infrastructure and reshape its IT vendor relationships through a council of its CIOs, says Debby Hopkins, chief operations and technology officer for Citigroup.

Hopkins, who assumed her post in January 2003, says her proudest technology achievement during her tenure has been the creation of the Global Technology Council (GTC).

The 10-person council consists of Citigroup’s top CIOs from across the various business lines and a few of Hopkins’ core
