Sun Moves Solaris to x86 Servers; J2EE Meets .Net

PALO ALTO, Calif.--Sun Microsystems last week filled out its software initiatives, extending its flagship Solaris brand of Unix into the x86-based server realm, and moving its Java server offerings closer to interoperability with Microsoft’s .Net.
