TT Patents Battles Put Rivals on Notice

CHICAGO—Trading Technologies Intl. (TT), a provider of derivatives trading software, is forging ahead with its patents battles, leading some industry observers to worry that this is the start of a flood of patent-related litigation.
Others counter that, to avoid litigation, software vendors in this market may opt to design around TT's patents.
