BEFORE THE SPIN

It's not often that you find mention of securities firms and the labor movement in the same sentence. It's not that Wall Street or London firms are unfamiliar with the strength of unions. But, as the mainstream labor unions in the U.S. begin a painful schism, I wonder why the IT rank and file have not done a better job of banding together, especially when they are the guardians of a firm's high technology jewels, so to speak.
