Lehman Ark Tests Informix RDBMS Linked To Security APL System

Lehman Ark Management Inc. is testing an Informix Corp. relational database management system interfaced with its incumbent portfolio management system. Security APL, supplier of Lehman's portfolio management system, plans to add the Informix interface to its product line if tests at the firm are successful.
The Informix RDBMS is running on a Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstation, sources say. The system keeps a database of Lehman's portfolio information, which the firm expects its traders and
