Turquoise Suffers Connectivity Glitch
According to Turquoise chief technology officer Yann L'Huillier, firms were "automatically connected to the second firewall" which resulted in what he describes as a "connectivity glitch" rather than an outage. The glitch affected all firms trading on the platform.
L'Huillier emphasizes that trading swiftly resumed and that the venue achieved record volume of shares transacted on the platform on the day following the glitch.
