Dow Jones Launches Composite Feed DowVision Service

Dow Jones & Co. is introducing DowVision, its long-awaited (MTR, June 26, 1989) composite feed of newswires and the company's news retrieval service. DowVision is aimed primarily at corporate customers, and, with the software products of alliance partners, will deliver news and information to desktop computers.
Dow Jones will not offer any user interface for DowVision. Instead, the company has chosen four Alliance Developers -- Verity Inc., GESCAN International Inc., Desktop Data Inc. and
