Persistence's Working Group Regrouping To Become Part Of Middleware Council

NEW YORK--The highly influential but short-lived Wall Street Middleware Working Group (WSMWG) is being folded into the Securities Industry Middleware Council (SIMC), according to Persistence Software, founder of the effort.

The invitation-only WSMWG served its purpose by introducing Wall Street to the importance of Java-based application server and related technologies especially those of Persistence, says Christopher Keene, president, CEO and co-founder of Persistence, which went public this
