BM&FBovespa to Offer Stock Trading in Local Currencies

Brazilian exchange operator BM&FBovespa and alternative trading system (ATS) provider Chi-X Global plan to release a joint service—slated to go live in the first quarter of 2011—that will give international traders the ability to trade stock listed on the Brazilian stock exchange in the trader's native currency.

Currently dubbed Chi-FX Brazil, the service will disseminate streaming quotes for issues listed on the Bovespa stock market using executable foreign exchange (FX) rates that are provided
