HFN Upgrades for Low-Latency Data

Paramus, NJ-based Hudson Fiber Network is expanding its use of latency-reducing passive wavelength networking technologies, starting at Nasdaq's datacenter at 1400, Federal Boulevard in Carteret, NJ, to provide lower latency access to the exchange's data for high-frequency traders.

The capability is currently live in the New York/New Jersey, Chicago and Toronto metropolitan areas, and has been in use by several unnamed high-frequency trading firms since HFN first launched the service 18 months
