ASX Preps Fiber Network

The Australian Securities Exchange has unveiled ASX Net, a managed, low-latency and high-capacity network to support delivery of multiple datafeeds and enable clients to access all ASX's products and services via a single connection, using dark fiber from Australian network provider Pipe Networks. Officials say ASX Net, which will replace the exchange's current ASX Nippa network, will reduce the cost and complexity of connectivity for clients. ASX and Pipe are currently provisioning the network
