The potential for expanded overnight trading in US equity markets sparked debate this year, whether people liked it or not.
This past spring, a practice and tradition of almost 50 years came to an end. In late February, the New York Yankees announced they would be ending their longstanding policy on facial hair and grooming. For nearly five decades, Yankees players were mandated to be clean-shaven and without long hair. It was sometimes in stark contrast to the appearance of other players around the league (see: Brandon Marsh).
