Monterey Middleware Reaches Near-Native Performance
In recent benchmarking testing, cloud computing middleware provider Cloudsoft and its partners demonstrated a consistent 26 microsecond network latency between virtual machines located on different hosts in a 10 Gbps Ethernet test environment.
Such performance, according to vendor officials, validates the use of cloud computing and server virtualization for such latency-sensitive functions as high-frequency trading and market data systems.
