Burgundy Preps Platform Update

Nordic multilateral trading facility (MTF) Burgundy expects to halve its current latency to 0.5 microseconds and at least double its throughput from 8,000 to 10,000 transactions a second, when it upgrades its Cinnober matching platform next week, officials tell SST.

"Cinnober has worked hard with us cleaning up the protocols to make everything more efficient." says, Erik Ellqvist, head of market operations at Burgundy. "The upgrade will give us a lot less latency and a lot more capacity."
