Hudson Fiber Network Lowers Latency, Adds Redundancy



Paramus, NJ-based networking services provider Hudson Fiber Network (HFN) has upgraded its metro New York "Fast Path" fiber routes to increase their speed and flexibility, HFN officials announced today, Dec.6.


The vendor has reduced latencies from its Carteret, NJ, point of presence (PoP) to its PoP located at 300 Boulevard East in Weehawken, NJ, by 20 percent, and from the Carteret PoP to its PoPs at 755 Secaucus Road and 275 Hartz Way locations in Secaucus, NJ, by 15 percent each
