ITRS Readies Latency Outage Predictor

UK-based systems and latency monitoring technology vendor ITRS has announced plans to release Intra-day Breach Predictor (IBP), an application that can forewarn users of potential outages and spikes in latency in their systems.

The tool, which will be available as an optional module on the vendor's Geneos platform, uses historical data to create a profile of a normal day and compares this information with real-time metrics relating to the current status of the system. The two sets of data are
