Data Glitch Halts Borsa Italiana Trading

Trading on Borsa Italiana, Italy's main stock exchange, was halted for most of today due to technical issues with its market data distribution system.

At 8:45 a.m. local time, the exchange published on its website that a technical issue on its DDM+ price information system was "under investigation." It suspended its MTA, ETF, SeDeX and MOT markets a minute later.
