HFN Deploys Vello Cards for Metro Routes

Paramus, NJ-based network provider Hudson Fiber Network has deployed technology from Menlo Park, Calif.-based optical network equipment provider Vello Systems on its New York/New Jersey metro area exchange routes to reduce latency for clients connecting to market data from multiple exchanges within the metro area.

HFN has been leveraging Vello’s CX suite of optical service cards for long-haul routes since last August, and is now using the vendor’s CX50T card for its metro-area optical network
