McGraw-Hill Financial’s S&P Capital IQ division is developing a machine-readable feed of alerts on its equity research and credit ratings actions, to provide the data in a low-latency format that firms can use as an input into algorithmic trading models and sentiment engines.

The new feed, which is being developed by the vendor’s Enterprise Solutions team, will be released in beta next month, and will deliver alerts of actions, such as upgrades or downgrades, on its equity research Star Rankings
