TD Securities Eyes Data on Internal ‘Hydra’ Risk Middleware in 2020

The firm sees benefits of making data available on the platform, which already hosts risk and P&L functions, as well as settlement and reporting applications.

TD Securities plans to onboard the firm’s market data services to its new Hydra middleware platform next year, to allow the firm to streamline data distribution and make it easier and faster to share proprietary content across different business areas.

The data will cover global datasets across multiple asset classes, including streaming equities data, as well as equity options, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities, as well as other content, such as volatility forecasts.
