Fidelitys Brokerage UnitTests Platform for Customers: Offers Data, Analytic, Trade Services

FIDELITY Brokerage, the broker/dealer unit of Fidelity Investments, is testing a workstation-based system that it will use to deliver real-time market data and transactional services to customers. The effort could yield an information service that would be given to money managers clearing or trading through Fidelity, possibly on a soft-dollar basis.
The project is a joint effort of Fidelity Brokerage and Fidelity's technology unit. The planned system is client/server-based and uses both the Unix
