Insurer Conseco Rolls Out New Version of SS&C's Camra Management Software

Insurance holding company Conseco Inc. is rolling out the new Release 5.5 of Securities Software & Consulting Inc.'s Camra investment accounting and portfolio management system. At the same time, Conseco has tripled the number of 386-based personal computers that are linked by a Novell Inc. NetWare local area network at its Carmel, Ind., headquarters.
