Financial Technologies International Inc., the IBM and U.S. Trust Co. joint venture, has launched a new product. The Investors Information Workbench is a portfolio management system designed for banks' institutional trust clients. The software will enable easier access to and compilation of data from back-office systems' programs without having to upgrade such systems. The new product represents an attempt by IBM and U.S. Trust to capture a significant share of the fast-moving trust software
