According to Gale Bertrand, head of Atlantic Fund Administration's enterprise support services, Atlantic's modest technology infrastructure allows Atlantic to maintain its focus on its core business: fund administration. "We didn't necessarily want to end up being a data centre and have a humungous technology shop," Bertrand explains. "We wanted to get our fund administration work done, and this allows us to focus on our core business and minimise the infrastructure requirements we need."
