Quote.Com Uses Java For Realtime Portfolio Service

Quote.com is rolling out what it claims is the first public Internet implementation of Java portfolios and charts based on streaming quotes. The vendor plans to offer streaming real-time news this summer. The new products, Quote.com Live Portfolios and Charts, are aimed at serious investors and financial services professionals including users at small money management firms.
The charts product will deliver delayed or real-time quotes from domestic and Canadian equities, commodities and options
