Veronique Weill has been JP Morgan Investment Management’s head of global technology and operations for only four months. Now, of course, she’s facing another change with JP Morgan’s imminent merger with Chase. While it’s unclear what changes, if any, will be made to her role and her organization, her boss Ramon de Oliveira will remain in charge of the investment banking business post-merger.

Refinitiv’s PermID framework was conceived as a proprietary tool to address an internal challenge around identifying objects in the firm’s information model. Once it had proved its worth, it was rolled out to the firm’s clients to significant success.
