COMMERZBANK TO CENTRALIZE ITS TRADING FLOORS
Commerzbank (commerzbank.com) plans to go live with several new trading floors in Frankfurt in July 2001. The building, which will centralize Commerzbank’s securities trading, will encompass up to seven floors and house the bank’s entire securities trading division and some of its currency and fixed-income traders.
"It is going to be one of the biggest trading floor developments in Frankfurt," says Commerzbank spokesperson Peter Pietsch. He adds that
