Barclays Capital is putting the industry's biggest players on notice. The bank is undertaking an ambitious program to bring e-commerce to all asset classes. The bank's small size makes it more nimble in delivering technology, and although some senior managers concede that they may have missed the first round of algorithmic trading offerings, the investment bank is prepared to take on all comers.
The initiative is led by Alasdair Hodge, the bank's global head of listed derivatives and e-commerce
