During the Paris leg of the MiFID-HCL Technologies tour, our panel discussed the opportunities and consequences of the new compliance rules on the buy side. The panel consisted of Bob McDowall of TowerGroup, Geert Vanderbeke of Fortis Bank and Andreas Löfgren of OMX. Pramod Gupta of HCL Technologies, the event's sponsor, represented the vendor firm. The panel was moderated by Victor Anderson, editor of Buy-Side Technology, a sibling publication of Waters.
