Thai Bourse Upgrades Matching Engine
The 15-year-old Automated System for Stock Exchange (Asset) trading engine will be replaced by the next-generation platform, which will support the exchange's standard equities and fixed-income trades and is currently in its testing phase, says Chaiyoot Chamnanlertkit, SET's executive vice president of IT.
The new platform will be supported by the Itanium-powered servers running Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX operating system.
