TSX Sets Gateway Revamp for 2009
Exchange clients will be able to connect to the new gateway through their leased-line connections via version 4.2 of the FIX protocol or TSX's proprietary Stamp messaging protocol over TCP/IP, says Brenda Hoffman, senior vice president and CIO of TSX.
The migration to the new gateway, which will run on Hewlett-Packard (HP) blade servers powered by Red Hat Linux, will occur in phases with the new and legacy gateway, which currently runs on HP NonStop servers, running in parallel until the exchange
