Software Upgrade Halts Nordic, Baltic Trading
The technical halts were triggered when the exchanges were upgrading to a new version of the Saxess trading system, says Carl Norell, a Nasdaq OMX spokesperson. "Although not related to the trading system itself, there was an issue with the login, so the members had problems gaining access to the system," Norell says, adding that the root of the problem was a connection issue between the platform's operating system and the network.
