Micex Preps Low-Latency Gateway

The next phase in deploying the new gateway, dubbed MFIX Transaction Gateway, will provide access to the test environment, which is currently slated for May 2010, say officials.

"The objective of the new project is to provide a low-latency FIX interface to Micex, which will simplify the integration of other FIX-based applications-including algorithmic trading engines," says Grigory Baytsur, head of the external support system with Micex.
