Datacenter provider Equinix is planning its second Geneva datacenter. The new facility, dubbed the GV2 International Business Exchange (IBX), will eventually add another 48,400 square feet of space to the vendor's current footprint within the city. The first phase of the buildout should commence in December and provide capacity for 380 cabinets. Upon completion, GV2 is set to support a total of 760 cabinets, say officials.
